Biography
Christian Officiel, whose real name is N’dri Kouadio Jules Christian, is an Ivorian dancer, choreographer, and performer born on April 8, 2003, in the Abobo district of Abidjan. He is an expert in urban dance and other styles. Since the age of 13, he has been involved in dance, specifically street dance, particularly coupé-décalé.
Christian trained independently in the best dance venues in his neighborhood from 2014 to 2016. He had hoped to participate in the WOZO VACANCES dance competition, but was unable to do so, so he focused on smaller dance competitions (birthday parties, baptisms, street performances, etc.).
In 2017, he created a dance group called Thouki Gang, which gained recognition in the Adjamé district where he lives. In 2018, I worked with another group called Choco Gang, which was the best dance group in the town. Following that, I became a dancer and choreographer for the artist Yvan Kouame, a position I still hold today.
In 2019, I won the Varietoscope competition with Les Étoiles du Guemon. In September 2019, I began working with the Karismatik Project Group, led by Rhodes Karismatik, who helped me develop professionally. We collaborated on many projects related to the world of dance.
In 2021, I dropped out of school in my first year of high school and dedicated myself fully to dance. In 2022, we won the award for Best Urban Group Choreography, and thanks to my hard work, I was able to perform in concert with artists such as Didi B, Groupe Eden, Soum Bill, and Molare.
I've also appeared in music videos for artists like Serge Beynaud, Didi B, Kerozen, Bebi Philip, Mike Alabi, Elow'N, Black M, and many others.
In 2023, I toured Ivory Coast with the artist Christ Le Bling, performing regularly, filming music videos, and more. In December 2023, I traveled to Cameroon for Fally Ipupa's concert at the Reunification Stadium, which was a great success and a source of immense pride for me.
In 2024, things took a turn for the worse with the group, so I decided to launch my solo career, and it's going well so far. I have many exciting things in store for you.
Let's all work together to promote Ivorian cultural heritage and its key players who are constantly striving to unlock the potential of this beloved country and propel it to international prominence.
Dance is a widespread art form and deserves considerable respect.
