Biography
Born in Abidjan at the Lebanese maternity hospital in Treichville, Elysée is the youngest of a happy family, son of a mother who was a freight forwarder and who, despite her job, had time for her children, but while being very busy between these activities and the family, it is therefore in the large family courtyard of Adjamé, precisely at 220 dwellings, that Elysée will spend most of her childhood.
220 logements, an urban district famous for its cultural history, a district that saw the birth of celebrities such as the famous rapper ''Almighty'', Jhon Pololo and many other celebrities, an enclosed district and the crossroads of Abidjan through its famous cinema Liberté. 220 logements is Cocody to the east, Abobo to the north, Plateau to the south and Attecoube to the west.
It is in this atmosphere and in this lively neighborhood that the artist begins to be interested in dance at the age of 8 through small competitions in the neighborhood, surprising for a neighborhood where young people are more interested in football or business. Elysée is rather vaccinated by the dance virus. A shy and serious young man, he puts love into what will become a job for him because the stage remains for him the only place where he escapes and takes pleasure.
Years later, he will be asked by the choreographer Massidi Adiatou to join the N'soleh company. He will spend a few years there before joining the famous company of the Koteba ensemble, of the late Souleymane Koly, then the company ''Djiguiya de Mosso Yao Théodore''. With this great experience it was predictable for the artist to join the national ballet of Côte d'Ivoire which will open the doors of the sub-region through tours also in the Maghreb and Europe.
The artist decides to be independent and so with friends he sets up the company ''Moaye Ivoire'' of which he is a founding member. With the experience he had during these passages of different companies, the artist will not take long to impose in the cultural world the company Moaye Ivoire, which will also be requested by many famous Ivorian artists such as: Meiway, Alpha Blondy, DJ Arafat, Sidiki Diabaté, Révolution, Mix Premier, Affou Keita, Zouglou Markers, Ayidissa and Magic Diesel.
Formerly a temporary dance teacher at INSAAC and in many other establishments, then coach of the RTI show Babi Battle Dance.
Concerning these memorable memories:
''I was very honored to be a dancer and actor in the first 3D film in Africa with Dr. Kitia''.
''My most memorable event is to have played the play ''Soleil d'espoir de Burida'' alongside all the luminaries of Ivorian culture such as; actors, comedians and singers, with the famous Boom Mamadou as choreographer and director''.
"God works miracles in my life through dance".
